Enjoying Uncertainty
While Going Through Frustration

Do you ever feel negative and stuck
about the possibility of making progress
In that thing, you wish you could do?
What is that thing for you?
I know what that feels like,
it is painful.
You know, we have to remember
the issue of Timing.
For example, I heard a story about a woman
who, for years, dreamed of being a published author,
She kept pushing, and it didn’t take off.
During all that time, she was also a mom,
and very busy with her small child.
After a few years, when her son has grown,
suddenly, one thing after another just happened,
and her writing career took off.
Looking back, she knew,
that during her intense motherhood years –
she, in fact, did not have the time for
all that writing career entailed.
If this is what’s happening for me or you,
and things will take off at the right time,
I can find comfort in that.
Can you?
But if we are living in constant frustration,
We keep pushing ourselves
but don’t see enough progress,
We feel nowhere near where we wish we could be,
Every little win or hope we ever had for progress,
feels like a lonely spot in history,
which faded away quickly and did not continue.
What are we to do?
Learn from people who ARE doing it!
Oh…wahhh…barf …
Spending time with people
who seem to experience success
where we can not –
it feels crummy. It makes us jealous…
spending money on it to try to push and learn
is another sore point.
Ok, wait!
Remember, if you are still here,
You belong here.
It means that
that thing you wish you could do –
It is a joy for you.
Fundamentally, we are dealing with uncertainty here.
We are uncertain about the future:
will we be able to do this?
(We all have our “this”)
And remember: Uncertainty IS creativity,
One is the heart of the other, and vice versa.
That thing you wish you could do –
Is it related to creativity?
If we are here facing uncertainty,
We are communicating with creativity.
By the way, You are allowed to experience uncertainty.
We all have permission to feel uncertain
and not push it away.
uncertainty is a part of life,
we cannot push it away,
no matter how much we wish we could.
so why not enjoy the freedom it opens up?
“If uncertainty is unacceptable to you, it turns into fear. If it is perfectly acceptable, it turns into increased aliveness, alertness, and creativity.”
― Eckhart Tolle
